My name is Dona Adrian. I am a Costume Designer.

Dona Adrian developed a passion for all aspects of haute couture and design at an early age, inspired by luxurious fabrics and theater costumes.  Dona Adrian Couture was born from that passion. Based in Baltimore, Maryland Dona has primarily worked as a freelance fashion designer. She has been a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees for over 25 years.

With over 35 years experience in fashion design, Dona has been given many great opportunities to work on successful projects in television, film, commercials and theater. Dona also has many commercial credits on her resume and has worked on several traveling Broadway productions.

Dona Adrian's work as a freelance designer has afforded her the opportunity to focus on giving her clients the distinguished style and versatility that is her trademark.  Her vision and interpretation of fashion trends is classic, while her costuming is creative and whimsical. She is able to blend today's trends with her clients' unique personalities and fashion needs.  Dona's unique detailing, concentration on silhouettes and commitment to wearability have become her signature.  Although her numerous lines throughout the years have included knits, dresses, coats, jackets, hats and accessories, she specializes in creating luxurious, elegant gowns to include dresses at the Oscars, Academy Awards, and BAFTA Awards.
